Trash or Treasure

"One man's trash is another man's treasure". Ok let's stick with that theory.lol. I am so glad it is over. The garage sale started very slow, if you don't count the two morons who could not read the ad that said no early sales!!! It was still pretty slow. We sold about half of our "trash". I am so glad to be done with the clutter that garage sale preparations seem to stir up.

Garage sales SUCK! Now don't get me wrong, I love going to garage sales. Having one of my own is no fun. I'm just hoping this lady comes. lol

God is good

Psalm 34:1-3, TLB. "I will praise the Lord no matter what happens, I will constantly speak of His glories and grace. I will boast of all His kindness to me. Let all who are discouraged take heart. Let us praise the Lord together, and exalt His name." When times are difficult it is so easy to lose prospective. When I want to cry out to God and ask "why me?". He reveals this passage to me. What a wonderful Savior we serve. What an honor to praise His name.

Tonight while I was in the bathroom at the sink I saw something out of the corner of my eye. Yes, the biggest spider I have ever seen in a house, especially mine. I yelled for Doug- now let me stop here to fill you in on our spider history in our house, a huge spider consists of a dot on the wall- so I yelled and he came in the room. When he saw the spider he said "holy crap". Yes it was that big. Now I am suffering from the spider willies.
